LochCeol is a music duo of Ann-Marie Wall and Allen Hogan who perform both as a flute/piano duo or a harpsichord/flute duo.
LochCeol play a wide range of music, predominently classical, from both the Baroque and Romantic eras. They also play popular music of the 1920’s and 30’s in a relaxed easy listening light jazz style.
In recent years LochCeol has performed recitals in Oamaru and Wanaka, and as a trio recently at weddings in Queenstown.
This music is very suitable for weddings and other public functions as background music.

We recently had an official opening, to celebrate Archangel Wines joining the Wellwood Gallery. This was an open air event with wine and food and 60 invited guests including the mayor. Ann-Marie and Allen had been recommended to us to provide background music. They played flute duets for our guests in a number of styles.
The event was very successful and the guests enjoyed the musical accompaniment. we were very pleased with Ann-Marie and Allen's performance and their flexibility to run with our somewhat spontaneous timetable and get on with it, without requiring much direction. We would recommend this duo to play for weddings and special occasions and would enjoy them playing at any of our events in the future.

I was delighted to hear Allen and Ann-Marie combine flute and piano, in a musical evening at my home in February. They were well dressed for the special occasion and their performance was well received by all who were present. Consequently, I have asked them to play at Art in the Park, an event to be held in Wanaka in April.
