Rippon Vineyard, located on the shores of Lake Wanaka, offers a spectacular vineyard venue for weddings of all sizes.

In January 2011, a new hosting building was completed on the vineyard. The new building rises above the natural amphitheatre looking out to lake, vines and mountain beyond. The Rippon Hall is made of rammed earth and timber with materials sourced, where possible, from the land upon which the building stands.

The Rippon Hall offers both indoor and outdoor options, with a covered terraced area available for outdoor dining and ceremonies. The outdoor area can take parties of up to 200 people seated, the vaulted hall, depending on seating arrangements, can take parties of up to 100 people.

There is any number of options for ceremonies and receptions either in or around The Rippon Hall or elsewhere on the vineyard. Rippon is an ideal spot for weddings which, with vines, lake and mountains, captures all that is special about Wanaka.

A caterer’s kitchen, with oven and refrigeration facilities is on site, opening up onto the courtyard outside. Because we prefer to leave couples to choose their own caterers for the day we do not offer a catering service.
