Set on four scenic acres, Alpine View Lodge offers you something special and unique. Peaceful and quiet with fabulous mountain views, Alpine View Lodge is the perfect place for family and wedding guests. Sleeping up to 12 guests, we have a range of accommodation to suit most people.
We are only a 2.5km drive from the town centre or a 20 minute walk. If you are attending a wedding at The Venue, we are only a 2 minute stroll across the road, ideal for a group of family or friends.
If you have time between the ceremony and reception you can relax in the garden under the sun umbrellas or sit on your own private deck or patio taking in the views. Our accommodation is large, spacious and comfortable and is serviced every day.
Along with some of our room rates including continental breakfast, we offer free Wi-Fi to send wedding photos to guests who were unable to attend. If you are planning a function for the next day, we have the garden, the BBQ’s and the space for your guests to enjoy your company before they set off home.
1 BEDROOM ACCOMMODATION
Minaret Studio: En-suite studio with king bed and room for a cot
This is a large sunny studio with a king bed and light spacious en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery and on your deck there is a private barbecue. There is space to relax with a settee and dining table, and patio doors open onto a shared garden with outdoor log fire, furniture and stunning mountain views. This is ideal for a couple or, with the addition of a cot, a young family. The king bed can be turned into 2 singles, so with the addition of a single bed Minaret can sleep 3. Minaret has its own private carport.
Cardrona: En-suite split level studio with queen bed
This split-level studio is perfect for a couple with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with double bath on a mezzanine, overlooking a relaxing sunny sitting room with a dining area. French windows lead out from your lounge onto your private balcony with a barbecue, and the kitchenette contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and an electric frypan. The studio is accessed by some steps from a private parking space.

Vista: 2 bedroom studio sleeping up to 4
Ideally suited for an older family or two couples, this studio contains a queen bed on a mezzanine floor a few steps above the kitchenette dining area, and two single beds or one king bed in the separate bedroom, with 2 ensuite bathrooms, one with double bath. French windows lead out from your lounge onto your private balcony with a barbecue, and the kitchenette contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The sunny lounge, with grand views of the Cardrona Valley and Mount Roy contains a dining table and settee. The studio is accessed by some steps from private parking spaces.
Aspiring: 2 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 5 people & room for a cot
With a spacious living and dining room, this fully self-contained cottage is home from home. With one queen bed and 3 singles split between two bedrooms (two beds in each room), and space for a cot, it is the perfect choice for a family, couples, business travellers or a group of friends. French windows from your lounge lead out onto a shared garden with outdoor log fireplace and fantastic views of the Wanaka Mountains. The cottage has its own private carport, and there are plenty of other parking spaces on site.

With patio doors and French windows opening onto a private sunny lawn with barbecue, outdoor log fire, garden furniture and awesome views of the mountain ranges, this fully self-contained lodge is a great choice for a family, business travellers or a group of friends. It has 1 queen, 1 king bed (or 2 single) and 3 singles with room for a cot too. There are two bathrooms (one en-suite), a spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. The lodge has two private carports and there are plenty of other parking spaces on site.
